Author Bio

Emiko Yamamoto is a graduate of Nagoya University of the Arts, where she first exhibited paper artworks. Her experience there sparked an abiding love of creating beautiful three-dimensional art with paper. Emiko's paper creations have been featured in many exhibitions, and she is often commissioned to create paper art for advertisements and magazines. She is continually developing new forms of expression using paper, including work with paper illustrations and displays. Emiko is president of the Paper Decoration Association in Japan, where she lives and hosts paper crafting workshops. She is the author of several Japanese books on the subject of paper cutting art, as well as Tuttle Publishing's English edition of Paper Flower Note Cards.
