AUTHOR: Jemima Schlee is a prolific designer and maker. Her artistic, creative and crafting career began with a short spell at Edinburgh University (Italian and Art History), which was followed by a BA at Bath (Visual Communication). Subsequently, Jemima worked in the design industry for nine years as a graphic designer and as Global Art Director for Interiors at Laura Ashley Ltd. Jemima later trained as a teacher and moved to Brighton on the south coast of England, where she now teaches profoundly deaf teenagers. In addition to writing the ‘Take A ‘ series, Jemima has contributed to lifestyle and craft magazines including Country Homes and Interiors and Period Living.
